Dawn made a wish as she celebrates her 25th wedding anniversary on December 15th, 2026. Dawn has been diagnosed with terminal metastatic cancer, and knowing their time together may be limited has made creating meaningful memories with her husband especially important.

Dawn wished to spend a quiet, romantic weekend at The French Manor Inn & Spa in Newfoundland, Pennsylvania. The French Manor is the type of place she has long dreamed of experiencing. Its intimate country setting, romantic atmosphere, and wonderful restaurant would make it the perfect place to enjoy a weekend together and share a special anniversary dinner and step away from the reality of cancer.

Dawn’s wish has been granted and we are sending them to spend a weekend away at The French Manor Inn & Spa.

Michael is 39 with stage 4 Colorectal Cancer and his wife submitted a wish for him. His oncologist said that with or without treatment he has the same amount of time left, 6 months or less, so he decided to stop chemotherapy treatments and live out the rest of his time with a better quality of life making memories with their family. Michael worked for the department of mental health on a crisis stabilization unit for over 8 years till they got his diagnosis. He has fought so hard to win this battle, but now he just wants to enjoy what time he has left his family. He has always wanted to visit Yosemite National Park or state parks in Montana.

Stella’s Wish is providing funds for the family to take a road trip from Oklahoma to Montana!

 

Michelle has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma, which has spread to her liver. Time is not on her side, Michelle has always taken care of others, even if it caused her own financial strain or emotional discomfort. She has always put everyone but herself first, Whether it has been money given, a place to live, a meal for someone who’s hungry, time for someone who needed an ear or a shoulder, or the many other ways someone can help others, she has always risen to the occasion. Even in her dire state now, what she cries over constantly is that she feels concerned that she is making her loved ones suffer by worrying about her. The tumors/lesions in her liver at last scan had more than quadrupled in size and quantity.

Michelle has expressed a wish to her caregiver and friend who submitted it on her behalf.  Michelle would like to be flown from her home in Arizona to Florida with her adult daughter, in order to visit her mother’s grave and show her daughter where the gravesite is. Her mother died from cancer when she was 13 years old and she has not been back to the gravesite since the funeral. At the time of her mother’s passing, Michelle and her older brother lived with their stepfather for a while, but since the stepfather was inappropriate with Michelle, she fled, so it has always weighed heavy on her heart that she could never make it back to visit and maintain the gravesite. She would like to show her daughter…would like to take a short trip and feel peace upon finally getting back to see her mom, one last time.

Stella’s Wish Foundation send gift cards to cover air travel so that Michelle could make this visit.

David’s wish has been granted and SWF delivered a lift recliner to him at his home in Missouri.

Stella’s Wish has granted Michael’s wish to travel with his son to Norfolk Lake in Arkansas and to some Missouri lakes to go fishing.

Paige has stage four lung cancer (never smoked a day in her life) and was given one to two years to live. This cancer has caused her to have to medically retire and money is tight.  Her husband is a local fireman and works hard to be her caretaker.

Paige made a wish to take a small trip and make a memory together with her husband while they can.

Stella’s Wish is assisting the couple with a trip from Texas to visit The San Diego Zoo, with airfare, a hotel stay, and $500 gift card for expenses.

Dana was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in Oct 2025 and just finished her last round of chemo. Dana’s aunt/ godmother lives in Utah and Dana made a wish to her and her family to spend some quality time with them.

Stella’s Wish Foundation will provide funds for airline tickets so that Dana can visit her aunt!

 

 

 

Dana’s wish has been granted: mother and daughter will travel to Oceanside and stay 3 nights to enjoy some time away from home.

 

Diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, stage 4, Rich doesn’t have a lot of time. He is an avid golfer, has raised 3 step kids and 2 grandchildren like they are his own. Rich has recently retired as a plumber and is just a really great guy to be around.

His wife wished for Rich to have a short golf trip in Michigan this summer with three of his friends. They would be driving and would need help with lodging and golf for a couple days so that he can spend quality time with his friends.

SWF is granting this wish with a gift card to help cover expenses of a golf trip to Michigan with three of his friends.

Kim submitted a wish, with gratitude, for the opportunity to create meaningful memories together as a family. After experiencing significant abdominal pain this past January, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Colorectal cancer one month after her 40th birthday. She has a 6cm mass in her sigmoid colon and metastases in her ovary and lung. Since then, her family’s lives have been centered around cancer appointments, chemotherapy, 2 significant abdominal surgeries, the creation of a colostomy, radiation beginning in July followed by several more surgeries to remove remaining cancer and reverse the ostomy. She is so thankful to be receiving top notch care at Mayo clinic, but as you can imagine the sudden shift in their daily lives has taken its toll on her husband and 3 wonderful teenagers.

Kim’s wish is to treat her family to a warm oceanside vacation where they can spend time reconnecting in a setting that has always brought them a sense of peace (& fun!). This experience would be a chance to heal emotionally, reconnect as a family, and create joyful memories during a challenging chapter.

SWF is granting Kim’s wish and her family will travel to Clearwater, Florida to send some family time on the beach.
