Elainea is a single mom age 65, lives alone, with a young adult daughter. Like any patient, she never imaginged enduring the mental, financial and physical challenges of being diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer. She has spent the majority of her life as a caregiver and volunteer for Make a Wish, MS Walk for 14 yrs and now Breast Cancer Coalition Rochester.
Elaine and her daughter have special memories of having their photo taken in front of Plaza Hotel in NYC. Home Alone movie was filmed there and they would watch it every year and she always told her daughter “one day we’ll have to stay there”.
Stella’s Wish Foundation has arranged for her and her daughter to stay one night at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
