407. Joe Ziegler

Joe was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in April 2025, yet refuses to be defined by this disease. Joe is married to the love of his life and has a 16 year old daughter, Olivia and 13 year old son, Jackson. As expected, this diagnosis has been devastating. He is everyone’s favorite uncle, neighbor, beloved teacher and friend. He continually goes out of his way for everyone around him. His kindness and spirit have touched all that are lucky enough to know him.

Although he lives in St. Louis, he has been a life long Yankees SUPERFAN. He takes a lot of heat for being a Yankees fan, but his devotion never waivers. He celebrates every win and loss, often with tears. His family made a wish to get him to a game at Yankee stadium, possibly on the field, throwing out the first pitch, meeting a player, anything at all. Anything associated with the Yankees organization would be a dream come true for Joe. Although Joe is terminal, he is determined to beat the odds. Recently Joe has had some setbacks, but instead of slowing down, he shows up, participating in as much as he can. He lives each day with purpose and has taught us to live fully, no matter the circumstances.

Stella’s Wish Foundation has granted their wish and will send th Ziegler family of 4 to a Yankees home game and they will go on the field before the game.
